Gushka
GUSHKA is a Ukrainian handmade wool workshop based in the highland town of Kosiv, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Inspired by the rich traditions of Hutsulshchyna, GUSHKA creates rugs, blankets, runners, and other woolen products that celebrate Ukrainian heritage while offering warmth and beauty for modern homes. Each piece reflects the timeless craftsmanship of the Carpathian Mountains, reimagined for contemporary living.
Founded in 2016, GUSHKA draws from the stories and traditions passed down through generations. The brand’s roots lie in the legends, songs, and way of life shared by the region’s elders, preserving these cultural treasures through weaving. Using eco-friendly wool, each item is washed in Carpathian rivers, dried in the mountain air, and crafted by hand on household looms.
GUSHKA emphasizes sustainability, durability, and artistry. Every product is made using traditional smooth and knot weaving techniques, ensuring longevity that can be passed down through generations. With a commitment to preserving and modernizing Ukrainian traditions, GUSHKA invites customers to bring a piece of the Carpathians into their lives, blending warmth, authenticity, and love in every item.
