Maiyan's love affair with ceramics began at the age of five. The tactile sensation of clay, the anticipation of kiln openings, and the transformative power of fire have captivated her ever since. Inspired by the vibrant colors and intricate patterns of Moroccan ceramics, she embarked on a journey of artistic exploration.

She honed her skills at the prestigious Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. Now, in her own studio, she brings her passion to life, creating functional and decorative ceramic pieces.

Each piece is handcrafted with care, using a variety of techniques including wheel throwing, slip casting, and surface decoration. Maiyan draws inspiration from diverse cultures, blending traditional motifs with contemporary aesthetics. The result is a unique collection of ceramics that combine clean lines, vibrant colors, and intricate patterns.

Her signature painting technique adds depth and texture to each piece, creating a gentle interplay of matte and glossy finishes. All her ceramics are food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and non-toxic, though they deserve to be handled with care.
