  Maiyan’s love for ceramics began at age five, captivated by clay’s tactile feel, the anticipation of kiln openings, and the transformative power of fire. Inspired by the vibrant colors and patterns of Moroccan ceramics, she set out on a journey of artistic exploration.

  Trained at the prestigious Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, Maiyan now creates functional and decorative pieces in her own studio. Each work is handcrafted with care, blending techniques like wheel throwing, slip casting, and surface decoration.

  Drawing from diverse cultures, she fuses traditional motifs with contemporary design to create ceramics defined by clean lines, vivid colors, and intricate patterns. Her signature painting technique adds depth through a play of matte and glossy finishes. All pieces are food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and non-toxic, though they deserve to be handled with care.

  Neo started in Rome in 2007 when Rosanna Contadini, a former ceramic designer, discovered neoprene yarn in a hardware store while searching for new materials. Neoprene yarn is velvety, flexible, smooth, and pleasant to touch. Products made with the yarn feel soft and silky, in complete contrast to its robust appearance and intense colors.
  
  Sourcing the best Italian raw materials, Neo manufactures high-end objects for the home and personal accessories, which are knitted, crocheted, woven, simply plaited, twisted, or knotted. Natural forms and everyday objects, found from travels around the world, inspire the shape and colors of each piece that fuses sophistication, durability, and a modern aesthetic.
